Our Story

The ideology behind HWTHI begins when a potential resident agrees to enter the facility.  A complete profile is written for that individual detailing the circumstances that led to their homeless status as well as skills or talents that they may possess.  Each potential resident is given a full physical and mental examination to gauge and plan their rehabilitation.  Each resident is given an apartment and a job inside the facility.   A case manager is assigned to the resident whom will be responsible for following his/her progress through the program.  Depending on recommendations from each person responsible for the care of each resident; a goal is set for the resident to move through each phase of the program.
